That is certainly good news. I played only about a half hour on a Diamond and noticed the rails were much more consistent immediately. I play mostly on GC IV so you know what pains I have to go through... The cueball actually PICKS UP SPEED on some tables after going to a rail. Ridiculous.
I think Diamonds and slower cloth will be good for the stroke of the general pool-playing populace. But more importantly, I think their coin-op tables may also help bridge the gap between tavern 8 ballers and the real thing. Which has always been my hope, anyhow.
