Ipt Qualifer @ The Pool Room Sports Bar & Grille

Is the IPT gonna pay to recover the tables in their cloth for the tournament, or will it be played on the simonis?

I have been living in the Marietta area for the past three years and have been playing at this room maybe five to seven days a week. It is without a doubt, the very best room that I have ever played in. I have been fortunate to have traveled throughout the world in my business and always have stopped in the top rooms in whatever city or country I happened to be in so my reference point is fairly large. I am lucky to live here in the Marietta area and able to have such an extraordinary place to play. The tables vary from very tough to fairly easy so they offer a varied challenge to may levels of players. The staff is the very best I have ever run into and always make you feel very welcome.
If you haven't been here, it is worth the trip! Good luck to those who are trying for the IPT card.

HI EVERYONE,

MR. BOB BUCKLEY IS BY FAR THE WISEST PERSON AT THE POOL ROOM!

LISTEN TO WHAT HE SAYS;) THIS MAN KNOWS WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT.

THANK YOU BOB.

Keeping it in Oct would work out. Just in case I do end up going to the Open or any of the other tournaments I went to this yr, It'll give me time to catch up financially to where I could afford to head down for 3 or 4 days. :p

Hey Linda,
Thanks for your support.
I regret having to say I will be attending this event as a "rail bird". I can no longer play in tournaments due to health problems. I'm a heavy smoker.
As for my game, I'm only a decent league player who plays league matches cold, (NO WARMUP).
On the other hand, I've been around the game of pool 46 years (off and on), and seem to have a nack for picking players in player auctions & picking out up & coming players.

Male players: Stevie Moore now based in Atlanta.
Female players:
1. I am a supportive fan of Tracie Hines (WPBA) Met her in 2004. in 2005 her WPBA ranking went from some where in the 40's to 24th. Tracie was voted WPBA Rookie of the Year 2005.
2: Re: Kelly Fisher. My first view of her game was also in 2004. At the "THE POOL ROOM", Marietta,GA.
By the way the same location I met Tracie.
I can be quoted as stating: When Kelly turns Pro she will finish in the top 10 rankings of WPBA. Now at the end of 2005 Kelly is ranked #5.

As for my future picks in the WPBA (up & comming players that will soon be at the WPBA level of play). All three are now based out of The Pool Room I (Marietta, GA).

Angela Flores, Dana Aft & Amy Chippa.
Angela will soon be moving across town and will be based out of The Pool Room II (Duluth, GA).

Hi Lamar,

It's awesome to hear that The Pool Room is the breeding ground for new and up coming talents. We hope that one of these days, these ladies will rise to the top of their game on the WPBA and the IPT Tour.

Hey Mike,
Looking forward to seeing again.
Just hope the Players are aware of the fact that they "Must Regester in Advance". Quoted from IPT website.

Hello everyone, I will be directing the IPT's $2,000 entry fee qualifier at
the POOL ROOM in Marietta, GA on January 27-29.

Prior to the event we want to have several $25 entry fee flight tournaments
to get people qualified for the $2,000 event. The proposed format is below.
(***Everything is based on participation)

However, there is one catch..... We need to pay the IPT in advance for each
$2,000 entry fee we want to give away. Therefore what I need to know is how
many players could we expect to participate.

Please respond to the below question. Thanks, Mj

1. Who Will Play In A $25 entry QUALIFIER At The Pool Room To Win A Chance
To Play In The IPT's $2,000 Entry Fee Qualifier ?

Proposed flight format.
(The below format may change depending upon participation)

The Sat & Sun (Jan, 21-22) prior to the IPT's $2,000 entry fee qualifier
(Jan 27-29) at the POOL ROOM we are going to run eight (8) sixteen (16)
player tournaments on each day. The entry fee for each one will be $25. This
will qualify 16 players each day towards another qualifier event for a total
of 32 players.

On Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night and Thursday day I will run
an additional 4, 16 player qualifier events with an entry fee of $25 each on
each day/night. This will give us a total of another 32 players.

On the Thursday (Jan. 26th) prior to the event we will have all of the
players that qualified from the $25 entry fee flights play off. The top
players in this event or events will get their $2,000 entry fee paid into
the IPT $2,000 entry fee qualifier that weekend.

*****How many players that qualify is based on the participation in the $25
flight events.

Please post you response only if you will play in any of the $25 flight
qualifiers.

If you have any questions please PM me and don't post them here.

Hey John,
As you may know I'm a railbird most every weekend at THE POOL ROOM. I've seen many players play in the 8 & 9-ball weekend events. Some of them could not make 3 balls in a row, now some are now being competive.
In my opion, this due to tournament format.
