I see from the ipt site that tournament 1 has 50 qualifiers in it as well as the 150 members. Is this tounament due to take place sometime in early 2006?
If so it sounds like a lot of pool being played in qualification, as well as the qualification tournament to be one of the 150. Will it be a separate application process for qualifying for tournament 1?
Will that be $2000 as well ?
Lots of questions I know but these events are potentially only weeks away-someone must know what the heck is going on. Is there a cut off date for applying for the qualifiers to be a 2006 member?
Will there be a second round of applications as I heard people mention a referal field on the application, but there wasn't one.
I can see no mention of the $2000 entry fee on the ipt website am I missing it? Or was that fee just implied to deter the no hopers, but in reality it will be a lot less?
Surely dates and details for it all need to be annonuced soon for overseas players to make necessary arrangements to be able to attend.
Sure if the IPT can market pool successfully to the worldwide masses its gonna be awesome for the players concerned, but I too can't help having nagging little doubts about the whole authenticity of the tour when there is a lack of information regarding events scheduled to happen just a few weeks away.
