I just got a smoking deal on a 7 foot coin op Irving kaye table. It needs a little TLC to get it up to snuff, so I have a few questions for the experts.
1. I am going to refelt it. Are the rails a standard size, because I'd like to get pre cut cloth for the rails.
2. The entire door, and coin mech is missing. Besides spending a lot of money and buying the part, ihere an easy way to cover up the side so make it look uniform. I dont need access to the balls, they all end up at the foot of the table. I am thinking i am going to re-veneer the entire table.
3. The table is in my basement right under the baby's room, and the ball return is VERY loud and VERY clunky. It there a simple solution to quiet down the ball return.
4. Part of the plastic corner pocket liner sticks out about 1/4 of an inch. When a pocketed ball hits the part that sticks out, the ball jumps off the table. Whats a good way to fix this.
Any and all help is appreicated.
