Cuetec’s Avid Chroma cues can adjust where weights are placed in the butt (Acueweight Generation II). This allows a person to adjust the weight-balance location along the cue.
Is that system in an 18-ounce Avid Chroma cue useless? Does the 18-ounce cue have no weights that can be used in Acueweight Generation II?
If the Acueweight system does not work in an 18-ounce cue, why buy an 18-ounce cue? It would make more sense to buy a 21-ounce cue and remove the weights to make an 18-ounce cue. That way the owner would still have a workable weight system should he want to make his cue heavier or to sell his cue.
