There have been several e-mails to me in the past few months regarding this screen name. Fellow forum posters and several of my friends have wondered WHY I don't use my name as the screen name and not Bob's. Well here's the scoop!
Bob originally started participating by dictating threads and answers while I typed. (computer wise, he hunts and pecks, he has no computer skills what so ever...) After awhile I became used to answering for him. (like most wife's do after they have been married as long as we have. It really comes naturally for us gals , you know, lol) The only real time he posted himself was recently to wish me a Happy Birthday, and that had an ulterior motive, he forgot to get me a card, lol!
I have left it in Bob's name because HE is the one that plays the sport, I don't play. If I give a knowledgeable answer to a pool related thread, it's because Bob was behind that one. I have began to sign my name to the threads so that you know which one of us has answered the thread. (I have been real good at signing his name to plenty of stuff including his credit cards for many years now!)
It has caused some confusion on a few occasions. Like when someone has approached him from the forum and started talking to him about something associated to a thread that I have answered for him, but didn't tell him that I answered it. Then he has to spend a few minutes explaining the situation.
We have made so many wonderful friends on this forum! It is a great place to learn and contribute.
I hope that I have cleared up some of the confusion. Bob and I are a team. So for the most part, I am Mrs. Bob Romano aka Eydie Romano
