Is removing your glove a shark move?

we have a real world outside of your minds. and have to live in that real world. so the imaginary one that we want is never going to be.

a person has to live with and adjust to other peoples actions, and not think others must conform to your standards. because they are never going to, and it would be a terrible world if they did.

Some people need some balls and to quit making excuses.

With that being said, I won't move a millimeter if its my opponents shot but I don't give a shit what my opponent does and often laugh when they try "sharking"
agree completely except that i will not be a statue for others because they cant adjust to less than their idea of perfect behavior.

I watch snooker at every opportunity. In the most recent event on a couple of occasions the referee admonished spectators to be still and silent. They were no where near the table but a couple times the shooter got up from a shot because of movements many rows back in the gallery.
I remeber Minnesota Fats playing Mosconi and complaining about Mosconi not tolerating his antics as Willie was shooting. Fats sarcastic reply mentioned that perhaps they should play in a morgue if spectator movement bothered him.

I don't know why people don't understand it's not a noise or action that bothers a shooter, it's the abrupt change in shooting conditions that are disruptive. To go from completely quiet to someone making a loud enough noise has high contrast between the two about it. Same thing with taking off a glove, if a shooter sees that happening that can be disturbing and distracting instead of just sitting still and waiting till after he shoots to take off your glove. On your own time at the table, feel free to take off your glove, stand on your head, and whatever else you want to do, it's your time at the table. Although, when someone else is shooting, a good sport respects that opponent and sthu.

Exactly. If the room is loud the whole time that’s fine. But if it’s dead silent and someone suddenly screams as your delivering your stroke it’s naturally going to be a jolt to anyone

That's cool. I think a fair point to be made is that anything or any device can be used to shark somebody else. It's the statement a player makes when he performs a particular action that has intentions of distracting his opponent. Yes it could be an oxygen machine, it could be a glove, it could be disassembling your stick, and anything else that will distract your opponent.
I've had people try to shark me with chalk before. I turned it into a reverse shark.

I will never shark someone first, but if they do it to me I will drag them down to my level and beat them with experience. ;)

I was playing this guy last night at my 8Ball league's playoff and he was taking his glove off as i was about to shoot the 8ball for the win of the match. didn't affect me dropping that 8 and advancing to the semi-final....
stop looking for excuses

That parallels my statement to Lake City Red. Red was notorious for his moves. I used his antics to generate a self-righteous mad. It was such a good one that I went on to win the match with him and then the whole damn tournament. 🤷‍♂️ Piss Me Off, 🤷‍♂️
