Is there a reason why in the Phillipines they play more express 10 ball than 9?

Almost every stream I watch (to be fair, it's non-tournament streams) they almost always play nothing but express ten ball. I rarely ever see any two players playing 9 ball. Is there a reason for that?

From what i knew they played alot of Rotation in the Phillipines which made you better in smaller games like 9 and 10 ball.

Younger guys are playing more 10b now. The old guard played full-rack rotation all the time. 9b never has been big in the 'pines.
