I also like the CS-431; NB-8; IC-1 , plus one or two more. Again, I'll put these cues up against ANY custom cue.
There's just something about those old style cues. Beautiful classic designs. A lot of the new cue designs just don't do anything for me. I just wish they didn't put the pictures on some of the butts. I know the Balabushkas are supposed to be made to the specs of the originals. Do you know if they compare at all to the originals in terms of their balance and type of hit? I've never shot with an authentic Bushka, but my replica feels pretty smooth.

David Weir

I am always puzzled why does David Weir Cues by Adams are so popular and fetch such good prices on ebay... anyone care to shed some light and history on these cues? I dont remember having heard a David Weir as a player b4..

Someone I know has both, original and replica, and said the balance was very similar. I don't know about type of hit, he didn't mention it but that can change from cue to cue and what tip is on the cue anyway.

From my understanding the old Bushkas had a LOT of forward weighting. All I know is the new Mosconi cue I have also does, and I love it. It's over 20".
