I learned a valuable lesson from simply walking the table and not selling out. My opponent had blocked all but a difficult kick shot into the side pocket. I had found a path to extend my run. Similarly, pool players are also prone to getting excited and looking too far ahead to a potential run, leaving them vulnerable to miss a shot they otherwise wouldn’t.
