It's George Contact Info?

Does anyone have It's George Contact info? I have just aquired a It's George case and wanted to get some info on it. Its one that I have never seen before. Its made of heavy duty plastic in the Longoni style case.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but we dont have a case specific forum and the case isnt for sale.Just trying to get info. Thanks
 
It's George Contact Info

Mike Roberts (It's George founder) made a few of these cases to "test the waters" with this style. It didn't pan out so he decided against adding this style case to his inventory. There is 1 of these cases in Shreveport and a very few elsewhere. Hope this helps you out.

Billiards Warehouse are dealing it's george cases. I think the original maker is doing them again but i've only seen them on BW. Greg at BW is very good to deal with. Drop him an email i'm sure he can get you the new contact number for them. www.billiardwarehouse.com

How do you make a few molded plastic cases to test the waters? If it's made like the Longoni case then it's a molded piece where the mold would cost several thousand to make?

Seems like a pretty costly test to me - in fact the mold costs are one the reasons I don't make this style of case. I just don't like getting stuck with certain sizes.

Tell Mike I'd be interested in acquiring the molds if he wants to sell them. If the price is significantly lower than making new ones I'd be willing to buy them and try making these cases.

Sure enough. Learn something new every day. Well I still don't know about building this type of case. Back in the 90's I was talking with Wolfgang Strambach of Longoni and they were making this style of case without leather covering. I told them how I would do it with leather over the plastic if I were making them and a while later they did it.

You have a nice collector's item there I think. Pretty cool.

I know Omega Billiards is selling the new style Its George cases. I purchased mine (3x6) in Vegas last year.

Thanks for the info mooseman.. i'll have to take a look. I had dealt with Greg at BW a few times and his service has always been very good. I have an old 1x2 It's George myself that I am considering getting redone as it is in rough shape. Greg had told me that It's George wasn't making the 1x2 atm as they haven't got a mold for them. Those cases are still some of the best looking on the market in my opinion. Though I think makers like Instroke or Joe Porper actually provide better protection the It's George is just a great looking piece of pool history product.
