Ive been around a few games in my life, and a few high level athletes. I have a pretty good grip on what makes one person better than another in most games. For the past few days ( a week or so ) Ive been thinking about pool players and why there are so many good ones but so very few real, true, proven by time champions......And I have come tho the conclusion its gotta be the MIND....
If I was half as happy, all the time, as Reyes is, kicking 3 rails just to hit the ball ( and get safe of course). Not only would I be a way better pool player, my life would be way better, and it aint all that bad.
If your mind beaks down like a wet zig zag you might as well give this game up because you'll never be anything other than "oh yea he plays ok"...
