I was up in Reno yesterday for one day, expressly to take in some of the IPT tournament.....It was really nice.....I don't know about the rest of you fans out there in the pool world, but I take great pleasure in seeing that certain players are going to be earning decent paydays....for me, I like it that Nick Varner, Rodney Morris, and Danny Harriman are part of these lucky bunch.....

Keeping in mind that $6,000-10,000 is about average payout for WINNING a PRO tournament in the USA, look at these payouts, and aren't these some of the biggest paydays in a pool tournament for many of these players? (Just listing MOSTLY American players)...........

I'm just listing these players of note, even those who finished pretty low in the standings got paid an amount practically equal to winning a pro tournament on US soil.......It's fantastic!.....Again, I say thanks to KT, MS, and the IPT........I just hope that this type of tournament continues and lasts a long, long time..............

Just as most of you know the cliche from the NFL...."On any given Sunday, any team can beat another."......I was thinking about this as I watched some of the IPT tournament matches.......this is a tournament of the world's best and many champions.....but even as one player seems strong and another is playing weak, things turn around so fast .... quite a few players that looked weak in their play came back and won, while other strong looking players ended up losing.......except, of course, for Mr. Bustamante, who has looked INVINCIBLE this tournament thus far.................but, tomorrow is another day..
