I would like to know some info on ivory joints. What are the positive and negative attributes of ivory joints. How are they in comparison to other joint materials such as phrenolic and stainless steal, in reagards to feel and hit. Will ivory joints last in the long run or will they start to break down over time? thanks

Ivory will last a long time. it plays with more life to it, than steel.
Some like it, some don't. If it's installed properly, it should not crack and last a long time. It just hits with more life, and not so stiff of a hit.
