Ordered from the J Flowers website. Order was filled by a company in Florida. Billiards Warehouse, I believe.
Cue arrived in soft velvet like case with Joint Protectors and a certificate of authenticity.
Wrap is leather but has some grip to it. Shaft is carbon, phenolic tip and cue has a radial pin. 8-8 is what the site says, and I have a spare radial break shaft that fits, but not as tightly as the factory shaft.
Breaking is efficient. The more I power up, the more control I lose, as with most cues. Medium to hard center ball gets a very nice pop and spread to the rack. All racks, 9 ball, 10 ball, 8-ball. Breaking feels solid with the cue no doubt.
I have broken racks side by side with a Rush, and they are so close if you closed your eyes wouldn't know which cue you broke with.
For the $350ish I think it's tough to beat. Time will tell how it'll hold up, but it works wonderfully.
