J&J break shaft XS/BK-18T

Was going to replace the shaft from an old J&J jump/break cue with this J&J break shaft XS/BK-18T.

J&J site says "break taper, phenolic tip, etc". Price is $32.

Can anyone tell me if they've used this shaft before, and what their experience was? Below is the description cut/pasted from J&J's website. Does it provide the stiff hit that a break shaft should? Does it hold together reasonably?

I haven't tried that particular one, but I do have a JJ Spark Break cue, which has a Spark Break shaft. It has a phenolic tip, but a regular ferrule so it can be more easily changed to something else if you don't like it. I like the shaft, it's plenty solid and breaks well.
