But know nothing about JA. Who makes them or where. How much, etc..

I really appreciate quality leval 2 cues.

I would appreciate anyone who can clue me in.

JA stands for Jim Auerbach (deceased), of Auerbach cues.

The company still produces cues to date...it is being run now by John Parker, Jim's partner.

Good cues, reasonably priced. They have their own style...I dont think you can call them Judd copycats.
