I own a Jack Justis tube style case, 14 years old. Received in 1999. This case has been my main case when I carry a jump cue and other misc stuff. Over the life of the case, the lid has never popped open unexpectedly, the leather strap has never come undone. My cues, Gus Szamboti and others have never suffered one iota of damage due to the case. Even in a busy pool room, I think I put the case in danger of getting knocked over a dozen times. It might have fallen over a few times, but nothing ever happened to the cues inside. 14 years old.
The leather has held up extremely well, and I have zero complaints. These cases are heirloom quality cases that should last a lifetime.
