NICE JACOBY CUE FOR SALE. I THINK THIS IS A SPECIAL ORDER OR 1 OF 1 CUE BECAUSE I COULDNT FIND IT IN ANY OF THE CUE LINES THAT JACOBY HAS ON THEIR SITE. CUE IS ALL BLACK. IT HAS ROUND WINDOWS OF COCOBOLA WOOD IN BUTTSLEEVE. EACH WINDOW HAS AN OUTLINE OF MAPLE. INSIDE EACH WINDOW IS A DIAMOND SHAPED INLAY MADE OF TURQUIOSE. IN BETWEEN EACH WINDOW IS ANOTHER INLAY OF PEARL. IT HAS DOUBLE SILVER RINGS. IT HAS A BLACK WITH WHITE IRISH LINEN WRAP. THE FOREARM HAS THE SAME INLAID WINDOW WITH TURQUIOSE DESIGN. BUT THEN THE PEARL INLAYS ARE AT THE TOP OF THE FOREARM NEXT TO THE JOINT. IT HAS STAINLESS STEEL PILOTED 5/16-14 JOINT. CUE COMES WITH 2 SHAFTS. NICE SHAPE. THSI CUE WOULD COST AROUND $800-900 TO GET NEW IM THINKING. I WILL TAKE $500 SHIPPING IN THE USA INCLUDED. Maybe he just did not like the cues and spent the additional asking price in cleaning them up. He is offering free shipping though! That counts for alot. LOL

Nothing wrong with trying to turn a profit, however, ebay is generally a good indication of how much something is worth. You're best bet is to find someone local who will "bite the proverbial bullet".
no i didnt buy them on ebay...as i said i took them on trade...the pics were supplied to me from the guy who i got them from. if he got them on ebay thats fine...bottom line is the cues are well worth what i am asking. go to josey or jacboy and try to buy the saem cues and see what they cost.

I have to say I had very simliar story when I inquired about a Viattorre from this seller.
It was unsigned earlier Viattorre that I turned down second chance offer on eBay and this seller had it and offered it to me for almost 2 times what turned down for. Also I remember when this cue was on eBay, the seller confirmed that the cue was not signed as Viattorre so I had to enlist a filipino board member to take the photos to Jackson Tan to confirm that it's Viattorre. This seller said the cue is signed
For me personally, this is an indication that this is not someone I want to do business with.

What's the big deal? Is this that difficult to admit? Fact is you bought them on ebay....you marked them up approx. double for what you paid for them and you are trying to make a profit. This is all perfectly fine. Just don't insult my intelligence and others by saying that you "took them in on trade".

One cue was in AZ and one if OH, with very different sellers. BUT the buyer is the same. You SURE about your story?

JAZZ...yes i was trying to sell the viatorre cue for a buddy of mine.....but when you told me it wasnt signed i asked him again and he said it wasnt. he had told me first off it was a signed cue. i found out he did buy it on ebay..i have a pool room and have sold cues for about 12 years now...i am the only one within 3 hours that has anything. so people come to me to buy and sell ALOT!!! sometimes i try to help someone sell a cue on consignment...but i dont always have the cue in hand to do so. i may only have pics that they sent me and a description. that was the case on that vaitorre. thanks

When I told you that I knew the cue from eBay and that it was unsigned, you sent a reply stating that it was signed. That was our last correspondence.
You did not disclose selling cue on consignment (maybe only on pics they send you) but you did say "its like new and hasnt been shot with hardly any!!

Without full disclosure knowledge, I assumed the cue was in your possession and the assessment of the cue was yours.
