Jacoby cue?

In the shape it's in, that inlay amount, I would say $500. It would need a refinish to be worth more. A new cue of that level is about 1k and they don't hold their value too great.

J's aren't cheap. I'd guess that cue would be in the 16-1800 range if made today. Looks like it has a '02 date and back then it probably sold for around a thousand. A good re-finish is gonna run around 250-350. Its current value i'd say would be closer to $1000 than 500.

No, not cheap, but they are not hugely collectible either and have a ton of different models out there, which means finding a buyer for just a random one with issues won't happen unless the price is good. A friend of mine bought a 1600 retail Jacoby cue for around 1200 or 1300 new and used I have seen that same model under $1,000 in perfect shape. If someone asked me if they should buy the cue pictured for anything close to $1,000 I would say no way in hell, just buy a new one for 1,000-1,200. Now at $500 plus cost of a new finish, that may be something I'd consider worth doing.
