Ok, a friend of mine just got his custom Jacoby cue and WOW its nice i only saw it for a second before i had to leave for work, but it looked like it was birdseye, and with 6 ebony inlays, and black leather wrap.

But it was very nice.

I did check out thier web site and thier cues are very nice.

I am curious to know what other people think of thier cues and how they play?

This is not a proper question to ask other cuemakers. You need to ask this question on the main forum to get responses from players. That is like going into a Chevrolet dealership and asking them what they think of Fords. But this is even worse because you are asking them to put it in writing. Too many hard feelings are caused by such questions. By the way I have not owned a Jacoby, but have seen many and he certainly builds a nice cue.

is there a forum on the net where cues have reviews that would be nice to see one of these billiard forums have people rate there cues,I'm sure i'm not the only one out there that would really like something like that, it's just a matter of preffence in someones own collection to rate them and not to put any cue maker down and because we all know not everyone likes the same kind of feel and hit and balance point in a cue that someone else might like.

You will probably get dozens in not hundreds of responses if you start a thread on the main forum called something like: RATE YOUR CUE and then list several questions about hit, feel, stiffness, balance point and those things you want to know about. It won't be a scientific study, but would make interesting reading anyway. I will certainly read it, at least until the name callers that plauge the main forum ruin the thread.
