In the search for my next cue I have stumbled upon the Jacoby D4.

I am fairly new to the cue business and I have been playing seriously for a few months. I think I outgrew the beginner's cue I first bought and I was looking for something that will last.

I really wanted a traditional design. Linen wrap, 4 point with nice colored veeners. Down the line I am also looking to purchase a predator shaft, since I want to see what the Low Deflection business is all about.

So I came about this D4 Cue from Jacoby, and it's pretty much all I want and at a good price to boot. My budget is about 500-700$ for my next cue.

The other models I was looking at were the Joss N-7 ''Color of Money'' Cue. The Pechauer Decade 2, some nice Schon's aswell as an older Adam's Balabushka Replica, the CS-434.

I'm definately interested in hearing your comments about the D4, or the Jacoby's in general, aswell as trying to compare them to the other cues that I mentionned, especially the Adam's CS-434 that I really like, but am concerned about the quality.

Thanks alot!

I have a Jacoby cue and it plays great. If you want an LD shaft, you may want to order the Edge Hybrid.

I play with a Jacoby with a standard hard maple shaft that came with the cue. I am quite happy with cue and shaft but I might be upgrading to a edge hybrid shaft shortly.
