Jacoby vs. McDermott cues?

I currently have an inexpensive ($150) McDermott cue with a Jacoby LD shaft. It plays very well but I'm thinking of getting a Jacoby cue/butt to go with the shaft. Any thoughts?

I have two Jacoby cues and another on the way. Switched over from Predator. Best decision I have made. Love their low deflection shafts.

The Jacoby is a little more up-scale, small production cue. It will maybe feel better, and you can get exactly what you want, but with the same joint and the Jacoby LD shaft, should play exactly the same.

hey

I sub jest only if you want a flasher cue for you to step up to the jocoby cue. but I if you like the way your cue shoot and are happy with it then just stay with what your playing with....... but just my opionion ....

Since you most likely will use the same shaft. They should play similar. The only difference would by the way the butt flexes which may cause just a bit of variance. Plus, jacoby's are a bit skinnier than mcdermott butts.
