I was raised on the pool school of draw which was 'low and level'. Keep the cue level and don't hit below 1/4 of the ball. I thought it was weird because I could get more draw if I jacked up and hit lower, but people keep telling me I'm doing it wrong. Check him out at around 2.36.18, he's jacked up 45 degrees and look at the run-up strokes - he's hitting the ball almost at the cloth, and he gets insane draw with not that hard of a hit. I went and shot some balls on my table like that and I can get wicked draw like that. Why did this stupid low and level idea ever get started?
