This is a brand new James White dated 9/06

Tulipwood butt and points.
5 veneeers of natural, light blue, blue, purple and black.
Nice birdseye nose..
Fancy crown spiked buttcap with veneer rings in between..
Piloted 5/16 14 joint..
2 13mm shafts with ivory ferrules..
Dark Blue lizard wrap..
crown and joint are I3 not ivory..

$1900

Nice cue for the money..
Lot of work in buttcap and cue is awesome in person..

nice coloring in the veneers. you should bring us closer to them.

btw,,,do whites hit exactly the same as motteys? does he do anything different?

they usually hit little different.. Jim uses a different butt taper and shaft taper..

I will say, Jim does 5 veneer cues very well.

I love tulipwood! The more I look at this cue, the more I like it. I didn't realize the lizard was blue until I really looked close at it......really sets the cue off well!!

Best of luck with the sale of this one......very cool cue. :D

stiffer?,,,whippier?,,,hard?,,,,soft?...what kind of taper

Jim's cues usually hit a little more firmer than Pauls.. I would say Pauls are like a medium hit and Jims are a med-firm hit..
