The Japan Open starts later today and runs for the next 3 days. Mens division is 10-Ball, womens division is 9-Ball.

They have put up an English PDF file with some details that change during the event along with the payoffs:

Also a link for the mens side that includes over 250 players from Japan. Works fine with Google translate. There are also groups from Korea and Philippines that include Carlo Biada, Lee Van Corteza and Antonio Lining. The lone player from the USA is Rodney Morris:

Matches start each day at 9:30 Japan time. That converts to 5:30PM PST / 8:30PM EST. Link to the stream:

Went back through the PDF file on this event and noticed they are using a different venue each day. Probably plays a part in the stream not being up on day one. That and the women start on day 2.

The stream should be up sometime on day 2, probably when the field on the mens side get to the 128 player mark.

One of the 7 pool halls from the first day is Billiard Rosa, which is the venue for the 2nd day. I'm guessing they don't have a stream up because the first day tends not to have a lot of interesting matches. I think the pros are seeded so that they tend not to encounter eachother until day 2.

Yes possible

Biado didn't fare well against Kitatani loosing 9-6.

Up next if former world 9-ball champ Yukio Akagariyama vs. Tsuken
