Jensen by Mike Johnson

My new Bocote on Bocote cue from Mike and so far my favorite Jensen cue I have!

Bocote is one of the best hitting woods and along with Macassar Ebony it is one of Mike's favorites woods.
Thanks to Michael King, a great friend of mine and a good friend of Mike Jensen and great guy in general my ideas come to life!

We were working on this project for a quite while and it is finally completed and I am amazingly happy and satisfied with how it turns out!
At the same time I am sorry this project is done since we all enjoyed in it really much and going through all this was full of fun, joy and excitement!
That's why we have to start working on a new one!

Mike's cues are wellknown for playability and for very specific stiff and crisp hit. I tried many cues and Jensens are very, very special cues. This one like most of Jensens has stainless steel joint with 5/16x14 pin and makes that great DING sound. Even if you had and if you played with 5/16x14 pin cues....you can't say that you know how a Jensen cue plays because it is really different than anything else and it is not only the pin but the way Mike does cue construction.
Enjoy the pics!
