I saw Jerry play the great Country, the revered one pocket player from New York City ,I had Just walked into Johnny Golden Gloves in Buff.NY when Jerry walk up to me and said Country ,just beat him playing one pocket, but Country would play him some straight pool, if he would give him twenty five balls.One Hundred to Country's seventy five for five hundred a game.I said go ahead , Jerry broke the ball's, Country run seventy three ball's the first shot.He need's two and he's out.Jerry run ninety something and played safe until he got a shot and run out.They played five games Country ran fifty ,sixty and seventy balls every time he shot ,and didn't win a game . Jerry if he didn't run a hundred ,he run out the next shot .Country twist his stick after five games.Like i said Country didn't win a game.
