Here is a cue that Jerry Olivier built for Jeremy Jones around 2003 when he won the US Open and Texas Open. He built him 3 of these. Jerry does not know if Jeremy ever played with it or not though.
The forearm and butt sleeve are Ebony with Cocobolo points and boxes. The inlays are Ivory. The finish is starting to bubble in some areas. Shaft 1 has what I would call a very slight wobble. It is almost unnoticeable to me. There is a small nick in Shaft 2 closer to the joint than the ferrule (therefore, you don't feel it when playing). The cue is still very nice. I just want to point out everything that I can.
Specs:
Butt - 16.5 oz. / 29 1/8"
Shaft 1 - 3.7 oz. - 12.85mm - 29 1/8"
Shaft 2 - 3.7 oz. - 13.23 mm - 29 1/8"
Jerry said that he would charge close to $2000 to build this cue today.
