Yours has real points. I did work on a sp made by Jerry. I was shocked to find out it had dark ebony colored points painted onto a solid piece of maple. I guess thats cheaper than buying a full splice blank.

Yeah, Jerry told me this one was a full splice at the time of purchase. I'd be pretty pissed to find out I'd bought a cue with "painted points" if I was the guy who owned that cue you did some work on...
