Years ago I had Jerry make me a titlist conversion. A nice simple cue with steel half joint, simple inlays and box veneers inlay in the butt sleeves.

I never expected it to be such a nice playing cue. Over the years, I did more then once contemplated changing cues (because i am vain) but i never found one that could replace it.

I think it has something to do with the Half Steel Joint construction. Weird but it is quite unlike any steel joint cues i have played with. I think the way the shaft sits in the walls of the joint plays a part too. I had him make the wood part of the piloted joint protrude out thicker and slightly tapered so that when i screw it in it will become tighter and tighter.

I heard some folks here talk about Jerry making some Buska spec cues for them here. I wonder if those turn out nice and up to specs?

The only quarrel i have with this current cue is probably just the size of the grip. I just want it a little bigger. Slightly bigger. Probably because of the unforgettable experience i had with some old Tas, Gus and Ginas.

So if you have one of those buska spec cues from Jerry, can you give me your opinion?
