Just received this from Jerry the other night. Was able to save the full splice and keep it wrapless. Trying to get some better pics. Looks and plays great. He is truly an outstanding individual to work with.

Eric, from my understanding this was your design? It is a gorgeous full-splice oak Titlist conversion for anyone who can't tell it's oak.

Great design ideas, and great execution by Jerry.

Titlist

Thanks, Scott. It did turn out very nice. Didn't want to over do it with inlays, but they do add a nice touch. Deciding what to do with the other oak Titlist.

I think your choice of inlays was perfect. I don't know about the other one - for now I am saving mine. They are tough to find and I don't think you will regret keeping it, maybe as trade bait for an ebony or purpleheart.

Eric,

Glad to see you had Jerry -R- do a conversion for you. His work is precise. I'm having him build 6 customs that are our design. I can't wait to get them. I think his prices are still fair but they are going up soon. His work is a great value at the moment. Hope you enjoy the way your new cue hits.
Very nice looking cue by the way!!!

Enjoy!
John

Nice full splice!

Ask Jerry for some better pics of this cue. I had some but deleted them.
Oak titlist cues usually have to be cut. They are usually very light. You will likely need weight in front, middle and back.
I think you might need a steel joint for sure!

The cue is sweet!
Nick:)

Ended up coming out to right at 19oz. I like the ivory joint a little better than ss, but agree if I needed the weight it would have been the way to go. I think it looks a little cleaner with the ivory.
