Just wanting to know how people make those beautiful mitered veneers. And would like to see some of the jigs that cue makers use to make them.
The only method that I know for veneer work comes straight out of Hightowers book (the old cut and fold method).
Thanks

i glue up my veneer layers first. next i saw them into strips about .150" then i place them in a fixture to hold them while i make the cuts with the cnc. then i use a hand held jig to glue them up using white elmers. now it's ready to epoxy into the cue.

Joe, There was just a long post on Mitered veneers, and some great info on it. Do a search and you will find it...Petree was showing off some on there, oh yeah and Scott R also... Beautiful stuff, and yeah I'm Jealous... Haven't heard from you lately, guessing all is good.

Jim, I did not see that one. I did a search and came up with nothing of any use. I may call you on monday to see about some equipment. If you have time could you post a link to that forum.
thanks
