Just came across this cue and am wondering what you all think of it. I have not owned a Buss cue before and am considering adding it to my collection. Anyone out there who could give me some feedback on Buss cues and the approx. value would be appreciated.

Early Jim Buss 6 Point Pool Cue:am told it was made in the late 80s. It is a simple but nice cue featuring a maple forearm w/ 6 rosewood points, alternating 3 short and 3 long. It has an unfinished Irish linen wrap and a rosewood butt sleeve. This cue is used and has been played but is still very nice. It is straight and rolls well both together and apart and has never been repaired. There is light wear as the pictures show. It weighs in at 19 oz and has a 13 mm tip.

Seems like a nice players cue. I debated buying that on ebay. I don't think you did too bad buying it for $375. If it's straight and in good shape I'd just keep it as a playing cue, assuming you like the hit.

Buss cues are very well made. I've seen some pretty good deals up to and including a really nice titlist conversion with inlays and two shafts that sold on ebay a year or so ago for around $650.

You did all right.

3rd Edition says Level 3 at 90% is about $550 so price sounds good. But value, like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder. :)

Jim's cues are excellent players. Have one of his sneakies and a titlist conversion and everyone who have tried them agrees that these are great playing cues.
