Dear AZB-Members
I hope I'm wrong in both cases, but I heard and reat 2 very sad news!
Not long ago Jim Mc Dermott (YES, the founder and owner of Mc Dermott Cues) passed away!?
I've also read in a US-Billard Paper's article, that at springtime 2013 Terry Romines Sr. also passed away, who has done a lot for his billard schools!
Were they talking about the Co-founder and Co-owner of Schon Cues, he's father or someone else?
I'm real sorry, but I didn't find at any place, more informations if there is anything true about this two very big personalities of Americans Pool Cue makers history!
I didn't knew a better adequated Forum, to discover the truth about it!
Who knows for sure if realy something happened to one or both of them?
PLEASE DON'T ANSWER WlTH JOKES!
Thank you

In Memory of James D. and Marilyn McDermott

I hope nobody gets upset, I've permitted myself to post an obituary, in honour of James Duane McDermott and his wife Marilyn, in THE HALL OF FAME - AZB Forum!? I saw that nobody else did it till now. So I thought to myself, these two wonderful persons really deserved it having a place at their own!

TO ALL AZB-MEMBERS:
Because I'm Swiss and English is by far not my mother language, it could be that I've wrote in my farewell speech (here bellow) any deep wrong or tactless mistakes...? If I made that, please tell me! So I can corrugate/edit it! Thank you

In Memory of James Duane Mc Dermott (Aug. 18, 1933 - Feb. 27, 2014) and his beloved wife Marilyn LaVerne McDermott (Aug. 21, 1936 - Feb. 9, 2014)

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal
While we are mourning the loss of our friend Jim, his wife Marilyn is rejoicing to meet him behind the veil.

Your 4-leaf clover will live forever in our hearts and on every butt sleeve of your cues. Because you wrote such a long lasting, worth full and very important chapter of Americans Pool Cue makers history!
Full of love and passion for all and everything you have done, we thank you Jim and Marilyn, for your extremely positive legacy.

With our deepest sympathy, the AZB-Members
