I had a positive experience with one of his cues. The only fact that seemed odd was his taper. The shaft diameter at the collar was so thick it wouldn't fit all the way into my shaft tube (porper case). His cue was solid, it had good feel, the finish was excellent. For the year or so that I kept it, nothing moved or lifted. He isn't especially well known but his work on the cue was well worth the asking price. I paid short money when he was trying to get his name better known. He earned my positive comment and if I see another Ward cue that I like, I won't hesitate to buy. Good luck.
