Did anyone else see Jimmy Mataya at the first of the 2004 Poker Tournament? After only nine minutes, "Pretty Boy" was the first eliminated from the tournament. They interviewed him and you could tell he was pretty disgusted. I almost did not recognize him, but he said he was "Pretty Boy Floyd" and was headed home. Unbelievablle where pool players where pop up.

A case of mistaken identity.

I believe your mistaken about Mataya. There is a poker player by the name of Dutch Boyd and I think the guy was refering to him being that he had just been knocked out by Boyd.

There is no doubt about it, they had him on camera commenting on his early demise. I seen him this year at the Derby City Classic, and it was him for sure. Just wondering if any one else see it?

Seems like a pretty natural place to me for a pool player who makes no qualms about liking to gamble. He strikes me as a guy who wants to be where the action is. The World Series of is some pretty big action.

Nine ball king, i saw this episode and thought the same thing but wasn't for sure if it was him. So I watched it agin later that night and there's no mistake about it, it was him. He said this is pretty boy floyd making an early departure, see you guys next year.
