It's a bit frustrating when someone takes 15 minutes to say what they could have said in 15 seconds. However, it's interesting and worth bearing. He says that it's the anticipation of that explosion or shock that makes people nervous enough to flinch, causing a miss. He addresses the problem of anticipation using methods of NLP (neuro linguistic programming) by replacing the thoughts of anticipation with other non-anticipation thoughts. In the end, the shock of the explosion is still there, but the anticipation is gone and the accuracy has improved. I like the concept. You have to join to listen to the entire podcast beyond the first 15 minutes, which I didn't do.
