I was buying Johnny Brumback dinner to celebrate his recent winning of the 2009 Derby City Banks division, when along came Eric Petersen (Fatboy). Johnny and Eric talked pool for a while and they may have matched up a high stakes bank game. They were talking kind of low, so I may have misheard, but I think Eric offered John two games on the wire in a race to five for 20 dimes!:D

Last day of DCC

Well, I'm up and at 'em on this the last day of the 2009 DCC. Maybe I'll buy one more cue! I'm hoping that John Brumback wins the Master of the Table by the end of the day.
 
And now, congrats to John for winning Master of the Table!

I am really happy for you Johnny!
 
thanks Bill for a wonderful dinner and Mike too. congrats to John for the all-around, Yup I'm giving him 2 on the wire to 5 and he is giving me 9-3 and the breaks playing short rack banks,;) .
 
That's a good picture of the three of you, Bill. I was at the DCC, but unfortunately didn't have the luck to run into you. There were so many people there, one doesn't realize how many guys he missed until he gets home!

Brumback is probably the best bank pool player today, and one of the nicest guys in pool. I'm very happy that he finally one the big one after having taken 2nd two times. The all-around is a huge feather in his cap (and a good addition to his bank account!).
