John Higgins is my pick to win the WC

I am a BIG Hendry fan but have to say that I think John Higgins is the one to beat right now.

Since Ronnie was ousted by Mark Allen and Stephen was beaten by Shaun Murphy, I think John Higgins is the top man left in the draw.

With the way he is destroying Mark Allen, it is a sure thing that he is in the finals. Being up 13-3 is a hard road to travel for Allen.

Yeah Higgins is without a doubt the man to beat. He'll probably play Murphy in the final but I think he's playing better than Murphy right now. It'll be nice to see him join a fairly elite group by winning a 3rd world title.
 
I agree with him playing Murphy for the title.

Robertson is a scrapper and has some serious game.

Robertson is a tenacious player and a hell of a shotmaker I'll never forget that shot he made a couple of years ago at the worlds (I forget the exact year) where he fires the blue into the corner at light speed and puts right english or side on the cueball and it hits the rail and comes way down table similar to that famous alex higgins shot. I was blown away on that one!

I've got a sweat bet on Mark Allen. I see he won the session 6-2 today. He'll need to beat John at least 8-1 to win the match.

If he does, it'll be one of the all time greatest comebacks in snooker.
