Tremendous performance from John Higgins, I have always loved his technique, consistency and match play, well done John, Ronnie was right ! :thumbup:

As for greatest ever type discussions I never feel it's fair to compare past & present. sports and players always evolve and different eras should be judged as such. Some eras have been relatively easy to dominate when you get one exceptional player come a long ie J. Davis,R. Reardon, S. Davis, S. Hendry etc.

Stephen Hendry is the most gifted player ever, IMHO.

I thing that Hendry is the GREATEST but not the most GIFTED, a bit of a difference. I think Ronnie is far and away the most talented player I've ever seen in any cuesport but his head gets in the way, he should have won 5 or 6 world titles already, but he hasn't and that's what makes Hendry greater, his determination and discipline. IMO.
