I need a set (1B/2S) of cocobolo 3/8 x 10 joint protectors. Any suggestions on where to get a fancy set.

1. eBay.
2. Have a cuemaker in your area make you a set.
3. Know any woodturners in your area? There not too hard to make. Inlay materials can be had from guitar-making catalogs.

My husband made two sets for me - ebony/bem with abalone diamonds for my Boti and a mahogany/bem set for my Frey break cue.

Thanks, found the perfect set. He's got some nice ones there.
Steve is a great guy... they are worth the wait-- not overly long either.... i have 5 sets of his customs.. few i designed with him and they are one of a kinds kinda thing... he is pretty good with email-that's how i order all my stuff..
one thing-- the jp's are a larger dia then the joint-i like them that way but if you want it to be flush- discuss it with him and he may even need your cue... i don;t send him my cues for mine as being little over sized is cool for me...

chad mclennen <see him here every now and then> also does some good ones- not as fancy as steve that i've seen...
good luck!

Don't forget to take a look at Steves cues. He makes a great looking and hitting cue at a very reasonable price. I have one and have seen others. Once in a while there is one on ebay.
