Joint

I´m a 3 cushion player from europe and i´m a very interested person in all the issues regarding cues.
After many hours searching i find curious that many and many cuemakers from the USA use lots of tecnology regarding the joint of the cues with the called metalic pin ( radial , 3/8, 5/16 , bullet , unilock etc ).
In the USA - and i may be wrong - only found 2 "diferent" kind of joint : the Schuler joint and the ultra joint from Mike Lambros.
In Canada there is the Layani joint - that i love, great hit.
In Europe for many years the most popular joint was wood to wood ( that i hate ) and Double Joint on the Adam cues.
There is also the LM italian cues that have the particularity of having the butt in wood and the shaft in kevlar and they have a very soft hit ... metalic joint.
The Asbee cues are , in my opinion , the european Schuler since the joint is very similar or even equal.
Now something is changing : the Longoni cues have allready metalic joint and the Predator used by Blomdhal has a uni lock quick release.
My questions probabely are better for cuemakers but everybody tries the cues and has is own opinion so :
- what do u think about the molinari unilock quick release used on 3 cushion game by blomdhal ?
- do u think the pins most of the USA cuemakers use are suiteble for the 3 cushion game ?
- what do u think is the best joint for 3 cushion ?
- what is the diference between the Lambros ultra joint and the Double jointed cues used by Adam.
- what do u think about the Lambros ultra joint ?
Many compliments for u all and tx for your opinions.
