Jointed Cue Tournament

Just got home from watching the finals in the Jointed Cue Open. Trevor Smith won it; he came from the losers' side and had to win both sets - race to 6. He played a young guy, looked Filipino, by the name of Dale (his last name is too tough for me to try to spell from memory. Starts with an "A".)

It was a tough match. First set went to case came. Second set, Dale had it 4 to 2 and Trevor came back and won it 6 to 4.

I believe there were over 100 players. Looked like a very good tournament. The Stonier family always does a great job of running tournaments. Their hamburgers are great too!!

Wasn't that you that took 4th? If it was, we were talking together before you played Trevor.

Congratulations to Trevor. Billy Palmer won last year, Deo won the year before. Us old guys are the ones who are supposed to be forgetting things.

It was a great tournament again with 100 plus players. I finally ran out of gas about 10pm and snuck in the money to get my entry fee back. John Henderson
 
That first day is grueling huh? If you make it to the second day, you deserve a lot of respect from me!!

ya john, you "snuck by me" to make it to the dough. LOL!! Youplayed well though and it was a great tourney. Congrats Trevor!!

This is why I was bummed to lose... 3rd actually, but if you're not in the final, you might as well be 114th I guess lol.
 
Josh,

I thought you played pretty well. Trevor was really playing exceptionally well. Getting third place in that tournament is nothing to sneeze about!! I thought you had a great attitude too! It was a pleasure talking to you!
