hello AZ!
i want to start by saying thank you for all the knowledge i have gotten from you guys & gals over the past couple years of lurking. just about every question i have ever had has been answered by searching your forums. thank you to a great community.
...now on to the questions
I have a Joss 101, plain jane model that i picked up over a year ago, and i love it so. however, i am about to pick up my first schon and will be using the joss as my go-to back up...using it when i go to the more seedier bars...and letting my friends use it when i drag them to the pool hall, etc.
my question regards to getting a dedicated shaft for it to break with. i am on a budget, and would rather not purchase a whole new 'break stick'...additionally, i would like the ability to carry two shafts (saving case room) and be able to either break with it, or change back to the original shaft and use it as the player that it is (or let a buddy use it).
my theory was that i could just get the shaft from the 'thor hammer'' break cue...but...
1) i do not see just the shaft from that cue for sale at any of the sites i looked (including Joss' site)
2) and i am worried that it could damage the butt/joint in some way. which i do not want to happen.
anyone have any advice or thoughts on this?
