Does anyone here have a N4? I just found one in a thrift shop and am wondering what is the aprox. value. I called Joss Cues, up in MD and got a machine.

Post a picture and I'll give you a price that is probably pretty darn close.

Thanks for the reply, but, I didn't buy it yet, not knowing if it is worth the $200.00 asking price. I can't link to the Joss Archive photos, but this N4 cue is in the Custom Series brochure from the 80's. Thanks for your help.

If it is straight, in pretty good condition & has the matching shaft with logo lined up...I think so.
ANY gold letter JOSS cue in good condition with matching shaft (logos line up) & points is worth at least $200.

Thanks for the help. I'll check out if the logos line up, and maybe I can nip him down a few bucks if I throw cash on the counter.

On that cue, if the shaft(s) are original and line up I'd say between 200-275 is what it would sell for. Usually the owners of those old cues have a inflated price, but they just don't sell for that much.

Really good cues that play great imho. I've had some really fancy j series from the same era that sold for less than I thought they should. I personally wouldn't buy it for more than 225, because I think I could sell it for 250-275 either locally or on ebay. Here I think it would be hard to get 200 unless someone just wanted that paticular model. On the bright side locally I might be able to get 350 on a good day.

Cubswin, thanks for the reply & insight. I'll check it out this morning. On another note, I wonder if my expectations on the Meuccis I listed is way out of wack? Havent had a nibble. I did add on a lot of room for dickering.
