This is a JOS171 which is about 2 years old. The cue is in essentially new condition, not a scratch or flaw on it. It comes with the standard Joss piloted 5/16-14 stainless steel threads. One exterior modification is that the butt cap has been changed to a generic one that can handle an extension with a 5/16-14 shaft. If you really don't want that, I can replace it with another non-Joss cap without the extension threads. Includes a generic plastic joint protector.
Weight is 14.10 oz/400 g. It uses the standard 1/2-13 weight bolt. I have a whole bag of these, so can set it up to be any weight you want from about 14 to 16 ounces, or can send you a handful to let you experiment.
Joss stopped making these last year, so a few retailers may have them. Pooldawg and some others still have listings for it, $487 list price, selling at $413, but all of them are out of stock and the listing will probably eventually be removed from their sites.
I am offering the butt only for $235, Paypal preferred, including shipping to the continental US by Fedex or UPS. Other locations we can talk about the difference in shipping costs. I'll pay the Paypal G&S fees so you will be protected on the transaction.
Since I have a Joss with only a carbon fiber shaft, I have two separate listings. The shaft is listed separately under Becue Engage 5/16-14 Shaft. If you want to buy both, I'll take off $25 since I only have to ship one package.
Nothing at all wrong with this cue or the Joss/Becue setup I've been using. I've gotten another nice McDermott, so am settling on them for shaft interchangeability for all my playing and break cues.
