JOSS New York State 14.1 championships

we are having the nys 14.1 straight pool championships on november 29,30, 2003 here at classic billiards in rochester ny.
we are very excited to hosting this event because we are a straight pool town and the fans in the area love it here.as you know new jersey just had there event for the second year in a row and from what i heard it was a great event and i was so glad to hear that it went well for them.hopefully they will run one every year, the game of straight pool is the best and to see these players capable of runs of 100 or greater is a feat that only a straight pool player can appreciate to the fullest.for anyone that need any information on either playing or being a spectator can contact me at 585-227-7400.also michael webb from webb cues will be on hand for any of your repair work or custom cues on site.this tournament is a joss tour event that will be run as a yearly event in the future hopefully if there is enough interest we will open up the field next year. this year it is limited to the first 32 paid entrys and as of this minute there is only a couple of spots left so you will need to contact me asap as i get calls everyday.there will be no spots held.first 32 paid players.also we will be having some special guests that will be playing but they will not be announced until you see it here first at az billiards in the near future.you wont want to miss this one.

I'm really happy to see another 14.1 tournament being held and I commend you and the Joss Tour for promoting it. I would love to see 14.1 become a more popular discipline being played.

When I saw the NY State 14.1 Championship on the Joss Tour schedule it inspired me to add a 14.1 championship in my series.

I'd also like to add my two cents about Mike Webb. Mike is a great supporter of pool. Not only is he a sponsor on the Joss Tour, but he also sponsors the CT 9-Ball Tour and my own Killer B's Series. This sport truly benefits from great sponsors like Mike of Webb Custom Cues and Danny Janes of Joss Cues.

Thanks for promoting what I consider the greatest pool discipline. And I wish you a great success.
