I have a beautiful Joss West from about 78 (that's what Stroud told me) that I've owned since 1991. I sent it to Bill for refurbishing when he lived in Austin and when I got it back he had changed the W from sideways to straight up. I called him and he said it really didn't matter. I emailed him after he moved to Ruidoso about sending it back to have that changed, but I haven't heard from him and his # is disconnected.
It's a stained honey birds eye maple with four eboy points with dashes at the joints, with the veneers being black, red, black and red. Ivory butt sleeve with windowed veneers, black, red and black around birdseye window with black squares abour mother of pearl. Ivory ferrules. It comes with 2 shafts and a custom Joss soft carrying case 2 x 4.
I played with the cue for a while but not for the last 10 years. It could use a good cleaning up but it's a beautiful cue in 90% condition. I'm asking $2,200 including the case. You can email me at randyw652@gmail.com or call 919.210.1094. I'll try to post pics but not too good at this.
