I read that Stroud has started using CNC, and I noticed that some of his cues are up for auction at what seem to be very low prices. I assume these are newer CNC cues that aren't considered as desirable, correct?

not correct. Bill has been using cnc for more than 10 years. his cues are not cheap and are well designed. his higher end cues are still highly sought after by collectors. i don't think he makes that many cues anymore and are nice to have if you can get a good price on one.

Bill Stroud was the first cue-maker to use CNC probably about 25 years ago but at least 20 years for sure.
